Welcome to my Mentor-by-the-Mile Service!

This service is for business professionals and business owners alike and includes planning, coaching and what I call done-with-you assistance. An initial assessment determines your top goals and our plan for how to use each session. Get support, accountability and quality help you need so you can get clarity on your next step, grow or keep more clients, map out your model or marketing plan or discover how to uniquely grow your career or business.

What’s included. You’ll receive either 3 OR 6 – 50 minute virtual sessions with up to 12 months to use, PLUS:

Your personal business coach and advisor at your fingertips. Use your sessions to map out your business growth or marketing plan, get resources and tools to launch or get advice to stay in motion

A comprehensive online business and personal assessment to identify where you are, what you want to accomplish and how you will measure success (valued at $795); as well as actionable assignments in between sessions. This isn’t busy work it’s business work as you directly apply effort to your goals

Complete recordings of sessions so you have records of what we discuss

I started my company VentureWalk to develop people and businesses by helping them connect their model, their message and their mission to the money. I’ve worked with businesses in over 27 different industries in closing multi-million dollar deals, successfully capturing new client segments, achieving record increases in sales and funding their expansions when most sources turned them down. What we can do. Your sessions are tailored to your needs and what we decide to focus on together, however, I’ve helped clients do things like:

Review MOU’s, proposals or other requests for work outstanding or should send out
Identify how to model their business (including packaging, pricing, positioning, the people to target, your product enhancements and promoting) so that they could achieve their mission and money goals

How it works. Once you make your initial investment, check your email inbox for an email with the subject “[MM] Next Steps for VentureWalk’s Mentor by the Mile Program” with instructions on how to schedule your first session and take the online assessment. You’ll complete the assessment before the sessions start and I’ll review it in depth. You have a full 12 months to use your sessions.

Lagniappe. In New Orleans (where I was born) we have a term called lagniappe which means a bonus, gift or something extra. Here are the extra touches you’ll get with me as your mentor:

– I’ll share proven business growth and marketing ideas and strategies with very specific steps and provide you resources and materials to help you understand what to do with it.

– You’ll leave each session clear about what to work on next. And I’ll hold you accountable for taking action.

– Between sessions you’ll work on assignments to learn about growing your business, marketing, develop strategies and materials and then implement what you learn.

– You’ll have access to me by email between sessions, if needed. If you have a question, need a resource or want some quick feedback, you don’t need to wait until your next individual session.

– I often help my clients by connecting them with contacts and resources, editing marketing materials and supporting the implementation of growth and marketing campaigns.

– You’ll fill out a Client Follow Up Form before each session to let me know what you’ve been working on between sessions.
